Nice shot of the moon..

UDHA May 1, 2004 03:05 AM

why is the boarder of the moon all funny? btw nice shot, looks more than 10x zoom, what zoom was used ?

MediOCre May 1, 2004 03:56 AM

Thanks,

50x on the moon. Handheld shot through a 10" reflector and 25mm eyepiece. The outside edge is out of focus, probably a bit overexposed as well thanks to the glare on that side.

The scope and the little one, counting the rings of Saturn before bed.

UDHA May 1, 2004 05:32 AM

Random Photos : Kodak DX4530

All images have been resized from higher resolutions

On the left are automatics, middle manual and right are Cooper S (manual)

Vacation last year in Yellowstone

Crawdaddy79 May 3, 2004 06:07 AM

This is the most recent decent one I took.

My camera is a POS (it's about four years old) so it looks pretty grainy.

This was taken in Southern Georgia at the Melhanna plantation.

Edit: Stipped away the image tags... Feeling nice today.

UDHA May 3, 2004 07:09 AM

sorry for the size, the file was over 1mb, I've compressed it to under 300k so that should be more 'friendly' also let me know if I should resize it, in mozilla I flick of the wrist will resize images so I am kinda spoilt, feel sorry for those pore IE users with no freedom ;)

EDIT: click the pic for full image

Damn my DSC-P31

Well, in the only moment of sunshine this afternoon. I took a picture of my back garden, and frankly i'm disappointed. I wish i could have changed to apature so that i could have had greater depth of field (that damn tree is so out of focus). Unfortunately, my Sony DSC-P31 doesn't allow such extravegancies :bleh: . Thats why i bought a Nikon F75 (N75 in USA), all i need now is a good film scanner(and some more RAM). ;)

[edit] I live in the East Midlands in England.

**G.I.BRO** May 3, 2004 08:04 AM

Teh pics =
BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT, guys, can we just have the pics limited to 1024x768. Pics that are huge are toooooo much. If you cant compress it, then just post the link instead of the tags, along with a warning.

Greatly Appreciated

UDHA May 3, 2004 08:45 AM

nice garden hannibal, where do you live?
