Anyone else looking forward to this game? Its supposed to come out in June ( 05 ) and support up to 100 players online :eek: This is basicly DICE's ( Sweeden ) version of Desert Combat, a very popular mod for BF1942. We were supposed to get a MP demo this month...but it doesn't look like thats gonna happen :( I bet we'll get one in March though :D This is my most anticipated game for 05, I cant friggin wait! i don't want to dump another 500 on a useless piece of plastic just to play this, but it seems to be the only way :( (or 80$)

or you could use no aa no af with bilinear filtering and low poly models with a short draw distance at 640 x 480 and then you'll no longer focus on the graphics but simply the game, it's a good way to tell if a game is REALLY good or not. but $500, no that's; that's a good idea too.

i have high expectations for this game, it better be up to par/better than 1942 or i will be dissapointed.

i'm looking forward to this game as well, but don't expect to play on servers that have 100 players. BFV was suppose to have 64 players, but the game lags like a ***** with anything over 50.

BF42 can support 64, but that's no where near 100. i'll believe it when i see it.

The swedes made BF1942, the canadians made BFV, and the swedes are making BF2. I am really hopeful towards BF2 tho, and i believe they will make it a great game. I was pretty disappointed in BFV after all the fun i had in BF1942.
Nothing against Canadians btw. I have been to Canada 3 times and like it alot there.

I will be disappointed of like in BFV, chopper pilots own every map that has them.
