All I need now is a better A/V stand, something that will hold all of my stuff.

satch919 Nov 30, 2005 09:09 AM

Nice hardware slick! I noticed you have the 360! It's a great system isn't it?!

Thanks.

It is great. Now all I need is a big enough stand to put it in :)

Just added some Glass shelves to my setup, still need to sort the optical cable and hide that blue neon better + get a RGB Component board ready for my pre ordered 360, but its coming along well quite happy with the setup :)

I got it from Circuit City a few years back. I don't remember the cost of it though. It was a gift.

gts007 Dec 15, 2005 01:57 AM

Nope I own the Sony KD-34XBR960.

I recently mounted my center speaker above my rear projection tv. Most people can just get one of those little shelfs with two legs to place on top of these thin projection tvs, but since my center channel ways 46lbs I wasn't too sure about using one or putting that much weight on the tv itself.

I ended up using a wall tv mount. Maybe some of you are in the same situation so this might be what you're looking for. Here's mount I bought and pics of how it turned out below:

Also, here's some installation pics I already had done that I posted on the forum where I bought my speakers:

I need a new TV and a receiver with more inputs, but other than that I'm pretty happy with it.

MysticKiller Jan 20, 2006 01:29 AM

Yep, I see the Macross toys too, worth probably $60-$80 for new versions or even more if original diecast ones. But I see his HT center channel on the tv too and two tower speakers next to the tv, did you miss that?

ScottDoom Mar 6, 2006 12:39 AM

NissanNazi, what the **** is your computer doing up there? I can't figure it out. Looks nice though. The whole room that is.

Here's our 1337 set up:
Sony 31337Z0RZ TV - 26?"
Bose 2.1 HAX3r.sound

Both of which are close to 18 or 19 years old.
I think we need an update.

My dad was talking about getting like a 50" HDTV but I don't know how serious about it he was. If he does get one, it'll be when he gets back from Qatar. It'll go here (and we'll most likely sell that armoire thing):

If my mom gets her way though, we'll have a second dining table here:

 We already have one dining table. Dunno why we'd need a second considering my parents have no friends and never entertain anyone. They watch a ton of TV and movies though.

Maybe she's looking for something big to fill up that space. In that case I would like to recommend a pool table. Use a big piece of board as a cover and you got your second dining table. ;)

badboy Mar 6, 2006 07:47 AM

gah so many of u got these really nice and clean setups  :p
well I cant do much beacuse I still live with my parents :bleh:

ScottDoom Mar 6, 2006 10:02 AM

NissanNazi Mar 6, 2006 02:37 PM

Thats a rather... odd question to ask someone :hmm:

I mean he lives at his parents and providing he works for a somewhat decent wage then he would have a pretty disposable income.

Lets take me, i'm 21 and still live at home. I get 270 a week after tax. 70 i give to parents a week. (20 of which i get back for work *its so i don't spend it all in one day *).

So that leaves 200 a week to spend on whatever. So providing he has a similar wage he would likely be in the same situation.

ScottDoom Mar 6, 2006 03:08 PM

Yeah, well I live at home too but I have to make car payments, insurance payments, and tuition payments. After all that, I have roughly $0/week to spend on myself. I turn 20 next month.

Braham Mar 6, 2006 03:11 PM

I'm still changing a lot, but enough is together to get a pic and list equipment...

Pioneer Elite Pro-1130HD plasma
Pioneer Elite DV79avi DVD Player
Pioneer Elite 74txvi Receiver
Mirage Omni-50 (x 4)
Mirage Omni-CC
Mirage S-10 Sub
Obligatory Comcast 6412 DVR

Still have to wire in the BeyondTV pc... it records and re-compresses the stuff I record to watch via PSP.
