Ubuntu Gparted wont let me do anything

Im trying to get some free space thats trapped in the middle of 2 ext4 Ubuntu partitions and get it over to the NTSF (sda4)partition on the left. Paragon and Gparted and any other disk software I use will not let me take that free space and do anything with it. I also cannot add that space into the surrounding ext4 partitions. Its like its trapped forever as a non-partition free space. Can anyone help me get more free space on the NTSF (sda4)side?

The offending partition is between sda5 and sda6. I can make it a NTSF and try to move it , but all software I use will flag an error. Is this because you cannot merge partitions that are many partitions over?

You need to boot from an Ubuntu LiveCD in order to do that; your partitions are locked because they are already mounted; and thus you cannot alter them.
