So, after crashing (and fixing and selling) the GSXR 750 last year, and buying a Street Triple earlier this year, I chose to rent a Honda CBR600RR for this year's track day at the Dutch TT circuit. First few sessions were behind marshals, which definitely held me back a little, but was a good way to get up to speed safely. Despite the 150cc engine deficit compared to the GSXR, my fastest lap times were only one or two seconds off my best. Not super fast compared to track day riders, but it's the fun that counts.
