New (used) car day.

Ah...yeah, it way different than rolling. Absolutely right about that. I thought my Golf R felt slow from a roll (mine also had JB1 mod, ran 12.7) at nearly any speed, but it felt great from a dead stop using launch control. Totally different experience.

It's hard to think these cars can do a 3.6 0-60 with just a tune. I mean it's already at 4.3~. Really want to get a tune ASAP. Not sure who to go with yet though.

Yeah, just a tune and they really wake up. I know some people were talking about needing tires, or that they made quite a difference with the 0-60 after the tunes. Good stuff for sure. I'd recommend staying away from APR. But Revo and Unitronic were the only two I'd even consider if I had kept mine. I was leaning toward Unitronic.

I yanked the JB1 off mine as soon as I knew it was on there. My first trip to the dragstrip got me looking close and that's how I found it. It was hidden/buried in the battery box. I hate the idea of piggybacks, so I pulled it off ASAP.

Maybe I'm still learning it, and was spoiled by touch screens. I just really hate not being able to just touch the spotify logo playing at the bottom. Instead you have to scroll to the home button, then scroll to spotify. Am I missing something?

Shouldn't have to scroll far, given Android Auto has a recent apps section. I just find it makes more sense to have a wheel versus touch because the wheel takes less of your attention while driving. I don't like going back to touch screen Android Auto now.

My buddy with his Golf R swears by Unitronic.

I have no complaints with my tune. I'll actually be going stage 2 with the downpipe and have a new clutch on tap for when mine melts in the Spring.

Which seats do you have, the powered standard ones or the manual sport seats? Black interior?

I autocrossed my S3 last season, it was great fun. When I was shopping for mine, I was originally looking at 17's for the virtual cockpit, but decided to stretch my budget some to grab a CPO 2018 with the 7 speed.

Just the standard Black leather power seats. I actually really dislike the deisgns on the sport seats with the color inserts. However I do like the diamond pattern ones, but they were too hard to find.

Sounds like same as mine:

They're pretty nice. The headrest also moves far enough back to comfortably wear a helmet and maintain posture.
