Batt life 7+ maybe a little better now a few days after last patch

i'll keep the 7+ don't like the X's all glass and smaller size
 
I have this weird bug where youtube still plays some low sound from videos despite the phone being set to mute/volume lowest. Pressing volume down doesnt mute the sound, but pressing volume up ONCE, and THEN volume down will finally mute the sound fully.

Not sure what triggers this behavior.
 
new update 11.1.1 which fixes the "I" being autocorrected into a strange ass symbol.

nothing about battery life tho ... ****ers

Seconded. It's bad and irritating enough at this point I'm 90% likely to ditch Apple phones for something else. This crap isn't acceptable given that my work involves travel and if something goes wrong I need a communication device. I'm severely irked at this.

Ah hell missed this before, unnecessary because the case for my iPhone is a monster and has plugs for all the holes and moving parts. It increases the bulk of the phone close to 75% (yes this case + 5s is more of a fatass than the LG Dare).

It's ridiculous - almost like they're saying to my face to dump them and go Android. :bleh:

They're having a rough couple of weeks for sure. I just updated and now it's nagging me to set up apple pay, which I don't use. I'm getting tired of apple I think...
 
Every time I upgrade to a new .x version of the OS, I lose most of my saved login and TouchID settings. Setting them up again is a PITA. Thanks Apple. :bleh:
 
I'm actually shocked - itunes will export your iphone contacts to Outlook. It actually worked and it was reasonably quick.

Nothing to do with the thread, but I had to post it somewhere... :bleh:
 
Why is the iPhone selfie camera better than the webcam on the latest MacBook Pro? I would have assumed with the extra available space they have on the MacBook Pro, the webcam would be better.
 
Got my 256GB iPhone X on Friday. I really like it but as always, when upgrading from one iPhone to another it really is a "meh" experience. Work pays for the phone and expenses so I don't really care.
