Did you checked if the AGP works in the c:\windows\system\dxdiag
Because when I loaded the new video drivers under old AGP driver, DX shows that the AGP is disabled, but the old ATI drivers and new AGP driver, AGP is Enabled but it finds a problem with 3D Acceleration.
