custom resolution for Mobility-M

OK - has someone found a way to do this?

My laptop has a Mobiity-M graphics chip with the usual VGA modes. I want to get it into 1440x900, for a LCD display in Win XP. The ATi driver is not cooperating! I've created a custom monitor INF, yep, and I've tested 8 different ATi drivers. Powerstrip is good, it cannot set a custom res'n with this chip.

In Debian Linux, I succeeded so this res'n is possible. Looks great...
 
That is a strange resolution, and I dont think any ATI driver will help your effort.
You can try the drivers and the inf information at my site, but I dont think you will be successful.
