5.38.6b06a drivers???

I tried installing the 5.38.6b06a on my computer, but after restarting, the display properties panel (adapter page) shows the version number as 4.0. What is going on, is something not installed properly?

I've installed this driver on lots of computer and have the same pb. nevertheless the driver is working because the video card works good with this driver just after the installation of windows. The 4.0 is not important.
