    My dad is dying

My condolences as well. Lost both of my parents to cancer. Each of them sooner than expected before the grandkids could get there to see them.

    This place is so dead

I haven't been here in so long I didn't know the site was upgraded. It does look nice.

    Scaling/overscan

I have a laptop with dual 3870s in it. Yes, it is getting a little old. It has a 1920x1200 resolution screen at 17 inches. That makes everything quite small. I tried the larger fonts option in Windows 7 (125%) but not all programs are compliant. I would like to try a lower resolution like...

    Driver or hardware issue?

I have been running my 4870x2 since February 2009 and have noticed that it is currently running at 68c at 2d clocks. I am sure that for most of its life it idles at 52-54c. It worked fine with 10.3 but those are getting old and Firefox requires 10.6 or greater for hardware acceleration. Any suggestions? Is there a recommended 'best' version between 10.6 and 11.9?

    Older Versions?

Is there any way to get older Mobility drivers? I am having issues with the 10.5 and 10.6 that require me to roll back to at least 10.4. I could do this easily on my desktop, but I can't find any Mobility drivers older than the current ones. Anywhere. Actually I did find the 10.4 on a Chinese...

    CCC not Vista UAC compatible?

So after having had UAC off for a while I decided to turn it back on. I thought all was good until I noticed there was no ATi tray icon. I try to open CCC and get the error "Catalyst Control Centre: command line interface has stopped working". I tried uninstalling, reinstalling, repairing...
