The original Quake is a pixelated, blocky mess. Getting my first 3dfx card, the Orchid Righteous 3d helped it a lot. It was actually playable at 640x480, and the awesome bilinear filtering made a big difference. A few years later I played it all the way through again with my Voodoo 2 card and...
