This started happening after I did a format and a fresh xp install on a friends relic m/c. According to device manager, it has a rage 128 pro card but the ati drivers for it says it's incompatible with the card and won't install I remember the same problem having occured before too but back...

How much does the latest patch for the game improve it from its original version? And more importantly is there a noticable increase in performace..especially with <1gb of ram?

This happens after I play the game for around 15 min..random beeps start soundin after that and then after a little more while they change into high frequency beeps... And the game uses 100% of the cpu all the time..even in the menu screens.. Pls help :( My specs: p4 2.4b asus p4pe radeon 9500...

I play d3 at hi settings at 640*480. It works fine but wen i go near some door der is a slight lag b4 it opens. Y is dat? It happens in all the other settings 2. Here's my system: p4 2.4b 768mb ddr 333mhz asus p4pe radeon 9500 pro w/ cat 4.6

I've had cat. 3.9 previously and the far cry demo(the 1st one) used to run well on my system. But after upgrading to cat. 4.2 the far cry demo causes my system to reboot after the loading gets over. please help

I've heard that far cry works best with those drivers. So where to get them ? I can find only the latest 4.3 drivers on ati's site.
