Introduction, test setup, requirements

Resident Evil: Revelations 2 is the latest in the horror subseries. Originally released in episodic form, the PC version packages all of the content together.

The game has been receiving steady patching for months leading up to its recent retail release, and continues to even now, so this is as good a time as any to evaluate its performance.

Test Setup

Unless otherwise indicated, all performance measurements were recorded while using maximum in-game settings (On/High in all cases, except where Highest is possible). Framerate was set to Variable (121 fps cap), and V-Sync was turned off.
