Just read this at Techpowerup http://www.techpowerup.com/108440/Ra..._Headroom.html Looks like it may be time for an upgrade soon. This will involve a case upgrade as well. I think I will have to go with Corsair Obsidian 800 case.

hmm that is wierd that they are claiming that there could be a 30% increase in core/memory clock for overclockers.. That would put it a tad over the 5870 single gpu clocks, it just kinda says... but if you can overclock these baddies to single gpu card clocks for 200 bucks less... then I dont care if there trying some marketing propaganda or unwilling to supply there cards with adequate cooling, I will pull the trigger as long as they can overclock close to singe gpu cards on air. I havent set up a water block system yet and for some reason i am intimidated to invest the money into a water cooling system unless someone could walk me through my first initial install. |
